Randomness + Cher Lloyd

I'm back from under my study rock! I've been looking forward to this day to blog. Well I just want to show you guys some pictures from Spring Break (which went by too fast). I found a new roll of film for my Polaroid, so expect some awesome  pictures soon.  

I got a new pup over Spring Break and she is so adorbz! Maddie Liz is her name and shes a Jack Russell Terrier, shes got some spunk too! I didn't really do much over Spring Break except spend some QT with the fam bam.

90s Baby With An 80s Soul

Yeah, so I am not even going to start with how I am coming back to blogging regularly. I have a crazy busy semester right now and trying to get in a research program for summer adds the cherry on top.


BUT....I have been obsessing with the 80s era lately and Madonna. Not just because she recently did an amazing job at halftime on the Superbowl but because my mom has loved her, so it kind of rubbed off on me. My playlist this week has consisted mostly of her music and I absolutely the outfits in her "Borderline" music video (below).

As any bloggers/readers SHOULD know it is NYFW but I want to go back to last years NYFW with Yigal Azrouel's Cut 25 SS 2012 line. Its very 80s vibe with the P.O.C (pop of color) and the clothes cut to design just like they were in the 80s. Ohhh what I'd give to live in the 80s.

Late Night Music + Art

I started listening to a new band called Mayberry. These guys are in the process of recording their first album and I have to say I like their sound. If you guys are into music by Paramore, Boys Like Girls, and things of that nature I am sure you'll love these guys. Not to mention they are from my hometown Edinburg! Go ahead and listen...you might end up pressing repeat several times.

Its Been a While

A Long while actually...


I am glad to be back on the blog as you all know I can rarely keep up with this thing because of school. Anywho, I have 2 more weeks left in my vacation from school so I am going to squeeze out as much blogging as possible (that is until I go back to being buried in my books).

Things I've Been Working On:

• Studding my leather jacket. I bought some coned spikes from studsandspikes.com for a great price and I have been wanting to do this to my leather jacket for a while. Hopefully I will have it done soon with a DIY video on my channel: polavisionlife.



• Stud my Blackberry phone case. I really like Demi Lovatos iPhone case and I bought some pyramid spikes. I already used these spikes on my TOMS but I didn't really like how it turned out. FAIL. So I really want to try them out on my phone case, since they are really similar to the ones on Demi Lovatos case.

• Shellac Nails. My mom introduced me to shellac nails and I have to say that they are perfect for me. I am very impatient when getting my nails painted and tend to mess them up while waiting for them to dry. Shellac nails dry instantly and doesn't chip for 3 weeks. Friday Photo Day

A few DIY's I did this week. My nails are a process dahhlinnn' it is a little difficult since I am very impatient. My next DIY should be Ombre hair? I am still thinking about this though, my hair is a little light for it now. I also need the courage to do something like that to my hair. Until then I will leave you with somethings I want.
