Tell us a little about yourself.
I'm a girl who's torn between living at the beach and living in the middle of a busy city, i have too many dreams and i feel like there isn't enough time in one day as i would like. My mind revolves around fashion and i am a strong believer in staying positive and believing in yourself.
What sparked your interest in fashion?
i dressed myself at a very early age and would cry when mum dressed me in clothes i didn't like. I would play dress ups almost every day and loved my grandmas vintage clothes. I appreciated fashion at a very early age and i would even read vogue instead of little girly magazines like total girl or dolly.
If you had to choose one piece of jewelry to wear for the rest of your life what would it be?
I am a ring person, and wouldn't mind having a ring on each finger for the rest of my life. I will always love the YSL arty oval rings however i am a big lover for simple jewelry as well. I am really enjoying all the rings in this blogpost i did:
What is one thing you've been obsessing over for Winter season?
We just finished winter but i am already thinking about winter fashion for 2012. I'm not a pants person, i love skirts in all forms and i think good quality knitted jumper is vital to wear over dresses and with shorts
What is your go-to item of clothing on a regular lazy day?
During summer break most of my days are 'lazy days' but that doesn't mean i don't like to dress up a bit still. my go-to item would have to be a good pair of denim cut off's. they go with everything and can be dressed up or down.
Are you working on anything special currently?
Not at the moment, i'm concentrating on being really healthy and positive about everything apart from that does building up my shoe collection count? haha
What are 3 most fashionable things everyone should have?
a great pair of sunglasses, a dress that you absolutely love and can work into different outfits, and a pair of boots
Who is the one person you would like to style the most?
i would love to style any guy with potential but is just clueless in the style department haha
Lastly, give us a few words you've learned about the fashion industry that you believe one should stick to?
I'm still learning and will never stop learning. But the one thing i've learnt the most is that its really hard to stay true to who you are and your style in today's society and i think that if one can stick to being their true self and not care what anyone thinks will get them very far- and probably more attention because nobody admires someone who dresses like everyone else? you know what i mean?
